Milton Keynes Heritage Association was formed in 1994 by a number of local heritage groups and museums, with the aim of encouraging and developing co-operation between organisations having an interest in heritage in Milton Keynes, north Buckinghamshire and south Northamptonshire

Members

MKHA has over 70 organisation and individual members, with a broad range of interests and a wide geographical coverage from Buckingham in the west, Olney in the east, Towcester in the north and Woburn in the south.

Many MKHA members have websites for those interested in our heritage.

MKHA members organise talks and other events.

Heritage Open Days 2023 took place from 8th to 17th September. All HODs events are free for the public to attend.

    Anecdotes and images about Royal Trains through the ages. The Royal Train has been based at Wolverton since 1842 and constructed there since 1869.

Membership is open to local history groups and individuals and is open to those outside the MIlton Keynes Council boundary.

Member benefits include quarterly meetings, grants, website hosting, free IT and archiving training and heritage advocacy.
