  Ellen Underwood (nee) Ratley born 1860 died Oct 1937 David Underwood born 1856 died Oct 1937 first lived Longlands Yard, then Sunny View, then Little Street and lastly by the pond Castle Ashby Road. David Underwood and his wife Ellen were Colin Underwood's grandparents. They died 1937 on the same day, one upstairs and one downstairs, approx 1 hour apart. They had enough grandsons to carry them both from there cottage to the Church.
